NEBRASKA COMMISSION ON AFRICAN AMERICAN AFFAIRS
LB 918 presented in the 2021 legislative session created the Nebraska Commission on African American Affairs. The legislation is codified at Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-1407-84-1414.
We envision a State where African Americans have access to the resources and opportunities necessary to experience prosperity and continue to contribute to their community.

The mission of the Nebraska Commission on African American Affairs is to improve the social, economic, and political status of African Americans and diaspora in the state of Nebraska through legislation, advocacy, education, and community engagement.
