Charter
The purpose of the commission is to form a committee to do all of the things that may enhance the cause of African American rights, and develop solutions to problems common to all African Americans in Nebraska. The functions of the commission are to promote state and federal legislation beneficial to the African American community, to coordinate and develop programs, to work with other state and federal agencies, and to provide public information.
